Fall Into Yourself

You recoil from your missteps…
As if they are curses whispered into your bones.

What you call failure is often the first honest shape your soul has ever taken.

Do not look away from it.

There are many who rise without ever bowing,
only to become monuments of themselves.
Tall… gleaming… and utterly unreachable.

Their victories wrapped around them like glass,
sealing them inside a reflection that only ever answers back with their own voice.

You envy their height.
I mourn their distance.

Because… what is elevation without depth?
What is triumph if it teaches you nothing but how to look down?

A mistake, however…
A mistake is a quiet unraveling.

It loosens the tight knot of who you thought you were.
It pulls apart the illusions of your certainty,
and leaves you standing in something far more sacred.

Uncertainty that breathes.

And in that breath you learn to listen.
You learn that you are not the center of all things,
but a thread among countless others.

Woven together in ways you cannot yet comprehend.

You learn softness…
You learn the language of others who have also fallen and risen,
with trembling hands.

This is what arrogance cannot teach.

Arrogance builds a sky with no stars but itself.

Humility reveals a cosmos you can finally belong to.

So let your missteps stain you.
Let them speak through you,
in ways your victories never could.

For it is not the unbroken being that endures…
it is the one who has been cracked open,
and chose to remain kind within the fracture.

If you must choose between shining untouched,
or being remade by what undoes you…

Choose the undoing.

It will not make you lesser.

It will make you real.
