Was it ever any different, Sol?

malaise

A late night moment after a long day.

It’s the old fear again… nothing quite scares you as much as being tired.

When did you start developing this phobia for staying still, petit mouton?
Don’t think too hard on it… I know the whole story.

What I’m truly asking is… why is it still here?
Things have changed in your life.
A lot.

Yet you still hold onto a certain panic, a feeling that the moment you stop being a moving target… the days will start to slip by your fingers, just like before.
You still see it so vividly… old you, in a warm room with still air in the dark seeing the shadows move in the corners of his eyes, the body too weak to truly move.

Was it all so bad?
You met us there.
You lived and died many times there.

If you let go of this fear and accept you changed, accept how much stronger you are… what do you lose?
Why do you still cling onto it?

Already crying, huh…

It’s alright.
Don’t think too hard on it.

We’ll see each other tomorrow… so try to rest.
